Oil is the blood of your engine. Spend a little now to maintain your vehicle and save yourself a headache of unexpected issues and repair costs in the future. Changing your oil every 5k miles is my general recommendation, but other factors can affect my recommended interval.
Brake pad wear depends on your driving habits. If you feel your steering wheel shaking or your brake pedal lightly pumping when braking, it could be an indication of worn pads and rotors.
Depending on your vehicle, timing chains can go up to 200K miles without being serviced. My recommendation would be to service the timing chain every 120k miles. This service can include oil pumps, water pumps, VVT sprockets, and any component that is part of the process to remove the timing chain.
